John Alekseev

John Alekseev

Born in Dnipro, Ukraine, where he began creating his first works.
Later, he moved to Kyiv, where he continues to live and work. His paintings are incredible emotional&manifestos, metaphorical and vivid.

Each painting serves as the beginning of a dialogue — whether about the mortality of love, the possibility of finding balance in the world, or the endless, bloody battle between black and white.

He has the unique ability to combine meanings and images that seem to have never
coexisted in the same plane. He merges them and makes them whole. For some, his
works are like gentle, embracing hands where one wants to rest, heal, and warm up.
For others, they are like a powerful strike, tearing down the doors of closed hearts.
One day, he plans to create interactive works that will keep the emotions born during
the war alive.
